Scuba Diving in and around Singapore

Singapore is surrounded by some great diving sites. You can find some good diving schools as well where the beginners can undertake courses. Internationally recognized NAUI or PADI certification is available from these schools.

The diving classes are held during the day or night. The process also includes an adventurous trip to a nearby island where your newly-acquired skills can be practiced. You can chose among many spectacular diving sites for diving which are situated along with the east coast of Malaysia. Some of the diving sites are mentioned below:

Pulau Redang: Palau Redang is situated off the coast of Terengganu. It is in the northernmost state of the Malaysian east coast. The island is much more inaccessible than some other islands such as Pulau Tioman. Pulau Redang is used to be a divers’ secret. But now a day a brand new golf course has been completed at that place. Pulau Lang Tengah is another island situated nearby which is good for snorkeling.

Presence of clear water and coral provide lots of opportunities to snorkeling and diving. Some of the excellent beach resorts are situated there. One is Berjaya Tioman, this is a great place to stay. But to enjoy more peace and tranquility you can stay at the smaller and inexpensive guest houses. I can say this much that you won’t repent for your decision
